LOUISA ARMBRUST
Brooklyn, NY
Neighborhood: Gowanus

ARTIST STATEMENT: I make paintings, drawings and installations that foreground the contradictions of everyday life in the digital age. My projects explore the moment where people and technology intersect and where the desires for autonomy, consumption and privacy collide. In equal measure, searching, humorous and sobering, my projects seek to illuminate the disconnect that separates ideals from lived experience.
