ARTIST STATEMENT: I’m a Brooklyn-based photographer who documents the life of old cars, abandoned or disused space and cultural oddities. I am drawn to urban spaces whose usefulness or function has transformed. I seek out those places that are on the outskirts of the world; that, at the time I shoot them, are not quite what they are supposed to be. My work is heavily influenced by the disintegration of my hometown, Syracuse, NY, from a functioning working class city to a suburban centered community.
