ARTIST STATEMENT: Scott W Baker is a Red Hook Artist and Photographer working in the field of Photography primarily with a strong emphasis on night time image making and also the acute interplay between expected images and the subtle subtext that exist in our work.I shoot portraiture with a emphasis on getting underneath the surface of a persons outward personality and explore the deeper context of their place in the society.
I also shoot HD Video and work on commissioned work.My primary work is larger format prints and also b&w photographs.
