Mikhail Iliatov
Brooklyn, NY
Neighborhood: Kensington

ARTIST STATEMENT: I work with sounds. My projects are based on field recordings of the places that are emotionally significant to me. I search for sounds that characterize histories, continuing existence, mutability, and dimensions of places, addressing disparities in our reliance on visual vs. sonic representations.
