Carl J Ferrero
Brooklyn , NY
Neighborhood: Red Hook

ARTIST STATEMENT: My process is like a band covering a song—breaking down the familiar into its fundamental parts and rebuilding it however it best fits back together. The resulting paintings and sculptures are signs that are charged with recognition: Echoes of what they describe, they occupy an elusive place between memory and solid object.
