ARTIST STATEMENT: On my creative path, I transform in photography elements in which signs of disproportion can be found between human being (his expectations and his aspirations that become his needs) and that which he creates or in which he projects himself.
Man confronted with his needs reveals his inadequacy at whom he compensates building machineryes within an aesthetic that leads back , i believe, to when people begin, their projections and then aspirations. That is to say it is the same advanced instinct that brings man, for example, a wish to fly that bring him to create airplanes to do it.
These disproportions that I often see, in which man builds to satisfy his own needs, remind me of a feeling that I have in myself, even physically due to my size, which often leads me to relate/engagè with difficulty to what surrounds me. It is like a materialization of the artistic sensibility that I undertake in my project and that I tell in my images through the composition of giant toys with which man helps himself.
