ARTIST STATEMENT: My work both locates and elicits trends and patterns-- those emanating from everyday observation, and those derived from the analysis of data. I conduct research-driven explorations of the environment and space. I’m interested in merging the digital and material, electronic and handmade. I study the relationship between green spaces and urban infrastructure, biodiversity in cities, disrupted geographies, and the production of space. I seek to uncover a sense of place through the definition of repetition, by locating the echoes that ring out. I endeavor to build an imagination around a tangible environment.
