Kirkdify is an internet video and performance artist. I am interested in work that is both challenging and empowering. Using multi-media, technology and performance, I have produced a body of work that represents my vision for new media and popular culture. In studying for my BFA at NYU, I earned a comprehensive liberal arts education and was continuously engaged in its application. This coupling has instrumentally inspired my unique art practice and remains my primary goal as a contemporary artist.

The culmination and product of my BFA studies, Kirkdify is a production company based on the simple principle: make things. Acutely aware of the opportunities and necessities of this historical moment, I have generated an extensive collection of cultural objects via an exponentially expanding wealth of technology. Informed by the work of Arendt, Duchamp, Warhol, Trecartin and Meisner, my goal is to make entrepreneurial art content and entertainment products. Visit my blog at Kirkdify.tumblr.com.
Knead at PS 122 December 2010
This performance art workshop was led by Tim Miller and took place in the performance space he co-founded: PS 122. Focusing on my personal history, I explored the power of ensemble work, the revolutionary possibilities of the written word, and the expansive potential of performance art.
After an extensive pitching process, I was hired to produce 5 video segments for a developing Yahoo! Maps feature intended to incorporate the work of citizen journalists. I pitched, filmed, and edited these short editorial segments, highlighting local landmarks and personalities in and around Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
