ARTIST STATEMENT:      As an artist having grown up in the beautiful Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts, my works have been deeply influenced by the natural landscapes provided in abundance within this region. It is important that we learn to appreciate and have a relationship with our environment and I hope to help do this with my landscape works. I am also interested in surrealism and the idea that art can become an access way to more subconcious ideas, opinions and emotions, which we can so easily forget to acknowledge in the fast-paced world we live in.
