Elisabeth Condon
Brooklyn, NY
Neighborhood: Bedford-Stuyvesant

ARTIST STATEMENT: Heeding the T’ang Dynasty dictum that landscape melds internal and external perceptions, my paintings fuse observation and memory as glittery stripes, mylar shapes and pours of paint that function as metaphors for movement through space. Water-based media suggests subtropical humidity while glitter evokes glam rock nightclubs and the color of Shanghai skies.
