ARTIST STATEMENT: November 27, 2013 Neither my art nor my view of the world is about being of a particular nationality, ethnic background, religious or sexual affiliation. I am solely interested in finding my inner vision and expressing it through an aesthetic form. To make these artworks I have used a diversity of materials such as plastic, paper, aluminum, canvas, acrylic, oil, tempera, cardboard as well as any recyclable material that can adapt to the intrinsic necessities of the artwork. These artworks are created by juxtaposing different materials into a vision that combines the qualities of oil painting and interpretation of space combined with color. Pico Reinoso
