ARTIST STATEMENT: Art is a lifelong journey of inquiry, reflection and transformation. My work consists of three parallel on-going projects: video, drawing and an astronaut in an indeterminate state. Be it a video that unveils, re-contextualizes and negotiates the state of things and meaning from a mixture of original and found footages or a drawing based on improvisation and controlled randomness or a dislocated and out of control astronaut floating in space, these works explore in-between or transitional spaces, meditate and embrace on the indeterminate, ambiguous and vulnerable side of our everyday existence.
