Jenifer Kobylarz
Brooklyn, NY
Neighborhood: Cobble Hill

ARTIST STATEMENT: My work starts with no preconceived composition or idea. Guided by intuition, I work within the parameters of the canvas and create a visual terrain through the connection of lines, shape and color. The paintings convey a sensory experience to the viewer by connecting a space using a language of geometric and natural forms and bold color brought together into a singular vibrant object. Balance and movement create a space that is both familiar and uncertain.
