ARTIST STATEMENT: Life is a collage. It is communicating with us all the time in patterns and symbols, if we can learn to listen. I try to pay attention; to see the patterns, to hear the stories. I am a scavenger of symbols. I eat with my eyes and digest what’s going on around me through collage, film and poetry. I don’t try to create something that is not there, I try to capture something that is there, and has always been there, but is not noticed most of the time. Nature is sacred. Humans are a fucking miracle. Art is ritual.
