Aaron G Beebe
Brooklyn, NY
Neighborhood: Crown Heights

ARTIST STATEMENT: I am a visual artist, curator, and museum-maker. In all my work, I explore the performance and material culture of authority and the language of power. With a studio art practice that examines modes of institutional display, memory, and the history of spectacle; consulting work with nonprofits and visual arts organizations; and curatorial work in galleries and museums, I am a leader and participant in the resurgence of small, quirky museums and artist-run spaces in New York.
