BIO

Sophia Sobers earned her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (2013) and a BS in Architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (2011). She has exhibited nationally in the cities of New York, Brooklyn, Newark, Providence, Boston, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C.. She is a recipient of the 2014 Puffin Foundation Grant in photography and has created temporary public art projects through the 195 Redevelopment Commission (Providence, RI) and Cherry Blossoms in Winter (Branch Brook Park, Newark, NJ). Her work has been written about in the Creators Project and Blouin Art Info.
