Shannon Bradley
Brooklyn, NY
Neighborhood: Bedford-Stuyvesant

ARTIST STATEMENT: Fragility, impermanence, inter-connectedness, and inner/outer landscapes are themes I return to in my work. Sometimes this is explored through spontaneous gestures and other times through repetition which becomes a form of meditation. I’m inspired by nature’s organic forms. When I work with clay I’m always aware of it’s elemental quality: earth, water, fire, and air working together.
