ARTIST STATEMENT: I use graphic design and drawing to create transformational, analytic and pleasurable spaces that address and engage with dominant, normative discourses and representations. My work is an intersection of art and graphic design and focuses on questions around visual literacy. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver and have since lived and worked in Stockholm and New York City.

    Wheat pasted laser printed poster

  • Myth is A Logic Too - Virginity Membrane
    2018
    Wheat pasted laser printed poster
    32 x 48 in
In an effort to address Western society’s ideas to color as trivial or dangerous (drawing on David Batchelor’s Chromophobia) I composed a unique set of 3 discordant colors for each poster.

  • Myth is A Logic Too - Vulvic Lips
    2018
    Wheat pasted laser printed poster
    32 x 48 in
In an effort to be transparent with the process I clearly credited the typographers, the full Anne Carson quote, and image makers on the front of each poster. “Vulvic lips” is a “dir
