Chanette Manso
Brooklyn, NY

ARTIST STATEMENT: I contrast the permanence in mythological icons against the impermanence in contemporary culture, because of my inherent nature to map out my emotional body cycling through recurrent themes. I use recyclable objects to make light tools along with light painting brushes, flashlights, handmade costumes and choreography, to craft scenes using long exposure photography. By making the invisible visible, my arts wants magic to connect people
