Renana Neuman
Brooklyn, NY
Neighborhood: Sunset Park

ARTIST STATEMENT: I am a collector of symbols and errors, playing inside the collective unconscious, tweaking memories that might have never been mine. Questions of belonging and un-belonging, migration and homecoming, ground, place, and borders, are at the focus of my attention. I make moving-image works that combine videos, animations, and moving mechanisms, addressing current worldwide issues through my local instances.
