George Gantz Goodridge
Brooklyn, NY

ARTIST STATEMENT: My work have always been studies in visual kinetics, form and color with a more biomorphic and at times anthropomorphic approach that communicate various conceptual idealisms. Whether embossed monoprint offerings my larger three dimensional works, the intention is to present open ended conversations that blur the line between sculpture, painting, and installation while responding to forward architectural practices such as the works of Zaha Hadid. What I keep reaching for is to create works that are not necessarily conclusive but provoke open-ended conversations concerning future perceptions of form, beauty, communication and joy.
