I am interested in our bodies, their weight, the actual corporeal feeling of them, our denial of
them, hybridity, sexuality. I am interested in religious and ceremonial aesthetics and symbolism-
how we as humans make sense of ourselves.
Engineered ergonomic and kinetic sculptures that express a continuum of the body in movement
in space and time based on coordination and balance activated by the artist or professional
dancers in public performances or in photos and videos.
Mine is A Multidisciplinary practice using ceramics, drawing, video, sound, performance and
installation to create new mythology that explores ideas of multiple consciousness as it pertains to
the social constructs of race sex and class.
My works are meditations on the search for balance between the inner and outer world, and on the perception of our impermanence; a reflection on the universality of the human experience, and on the necessity for a radical reverence for life
Collages made by hand and digitally, representing my navigation of both dreamscapes and
day to day waking life, thematically inclined toward investigations of physical vs robotic,
technology and spirituality.
