In my works I explore the motion of form, the written word, color and texture that are created with the recycled artifacts of my own life.
My work evolves through an intuitive relationship [dialogue]. Rather than being 'made',
it happens upon itself by layering and erasing. I respond. Manipulate. Redirect..for ultimately I am
responsible for every mark that remains..
My work is simply a celebration of my Haitian upbringing and roots. I am constantly inspired by
my family, my food, my folk songs and tales, my drums, my dances and most of all, by the
strength and spirit of my ancestors.
