My work transforms the human body into a magical realist vessel for embodying archetypes of death, desire and our collective unconscious â€“those very things that make us most human and most enigmatic.
In the series, "Runaways," a female protagonist goes on adventures accompanied by various
animal companions. The work conjures a picaresque sprit familiar from adventure stories in which
a heroine navigates an exotic and unfamiliar world.
