I make work that tries to reflect the complex relationship that humans have to nature, both
perilous and beautiful, and contradictory as we struggle to see ourselves as animals who have a
tenuous relationship to life as do all animals.
My work evolves through an intuitive relationship [dialogue]. Rather than being 'made',
it happens upon itself by layering and erasing. I respond. Manipulate. Redirect..for ultimately I am
responsible for every mark that remains..
I am proud to render the essence of many ancestral personalities who remain a source of pride
and a sign of hope, for anyone who has found themselves a victim of violence and poverty. I
incorporate scratches, cuts, and slashes into my ART.
Engineered ergonomic and kinetic sculptures that express a continuum of the body in movement
in space and time based on coordination and balance activated by the artist or professional
dancers in public performances or in photos and videos.
