Art photography with haze, blur (shown here), glow, halo, metallics and other special effects; uconventional, leading edge digital photography and design. With summer over for some time now, the winter holidays are fast approaching.
My objective is to create a visual language about transformation, one that speaks to the viewer
directly through the strength and presence of its primal, iconic form and is informed by biology,
natural history and evolutionary theory.
My artistic practice bridges the perception between painting and photography, exploring reality
and constructed illusions. The works I have created and exhibited throughout Southeast Asia
are photomontages printed on fabric
Ilana H-B is an interdisciplinary artist born in Brooklyn, NY. She received a BA in Art at Yale, and
is a 2016 MFA at Columbia University. She creates work that explores relationships between
surface, humor, failure, & individuation.
