Life is an adventure. Life is colorful. My life is my canvas. I am a healing, visual and performing
artist. My work is about my experience as a human life form, and the energies surrounding that
experience. What is the Human experience? ...
Obsessed with the human condition I've used the human figure & head for their unlimited expressive potential to explore social issues inspired by myth, history,& current events. In my new work Cosmic themes appear in a more abstract manner.
My work explores science, nature and technology in paint, print and mixed media. I recognize and use natural imagery fragments as elements of aesthetic intrigue, extracting components for intellectual mind play for the viewer's experience.
Primarily an observational painter. Cityscapes of Jerusalem are a recurring motif, but not romanticized or idealized images, rather the grimy rundown reality. Introspective self -portraits and the figure are strong interests.
My multi-media work explores in a serio-comic way how mythology serves as a coping mechanism in angst-ridden times and how diverse cultures coexist symbiotically. It relates to feminism in its focus on domestic items such as clothespins.
abstract, work with different materials like wood, plaster, metal, dried corn husk, dried banana leaves, lava sand, oil paint, etc. The works hang on the wall, but some of them have a sculptural feeling. They are very simple in approach.
I create images that are driven by circumstances, images that thrive within clear boundaries.
Each of these circumstances unlock a deeper investigation.
With each image, we share in this experience of (re)discovery.
