Through the medium of photography I examine my desire to understand how emotions and memories are trapped inside photographs, representing reality in symbols. I am interested in creating art that is intimate, visceral, and emotive.
My work explores the storage and transmission of memory, myth and experience. I’m interested in
mapping our very human engagement with the intersections of real and imagined experience
using performance, video, sculpture and installation.
My recent work is a melange of memories of scrap, urban architecture and interiors overlaid by
an existential suggestion that there is too much of everything. Beauty and decay weave together
and change places in an interchangeable world.
