examine individuals and institutions -- why they came to be, how they are presented to us, and
how they affect our lives.

design and technology and their relationship to culture as well as expanding the perception of
people of color.
I specialize in painting portraits of individuals and families in both traditional and creative styles. My personal artwork weaves portraits with memories of my past, portraying my perception of family history.
Robinson's work includes ceramics, sculpture and works on paper. He is the founder of the Arts +
Crafts Research Studio; dedicated to creating independent and collaborative artifacts at the
intersection of art, craft and design.
Adrian Roman is a mixed media artist focusing primarily on installations, sculpture and drawing, was
born in New York City of Puerto Rican decent. At the age of 12 he received specialized lessons at
Pratt Institute in New York and attended
