I work between genres of painting, drawing, installation, assemblage, photography and video to
explore process, impermanence, essentiality and serendipity through the transformation of
everyday materials and found objects.
Jayoung Yoon deals with the perception of being present in a moment. By using the ephemeral,
tactile qualities of materials, she tries to transform the invisible thoughts in mind into her physical
art works, and allow the viewer to dis-
GLASS, TRANSPARENCY, REPETITION, IMPERMANENCE. The main focus of my work has been and
continues to be to explore lines - in the plane or with glass edges, the infinite possibilities of what
seems to be the same.
